Located in Hwange, Matabeleland North, Zimbabwe, the plant is invested and developed by Zhong An Coking & Power Company (Private) Limited. The long‑term planned total installed capacity is 6 units. Phase‑1 will construct 2×160MW high‑temperature, ultra‑high‑pressure air‑cooled generator units.
